Born January 17, 1893 in Regua, Portugal, son of the late Louis and Maria Conceicao Dos Santos, he came to this country 45 years ago and settled in Hastings in 1924. He married the former Josephine Selvaggio three years later at St. Mathews Roman Catholic Church in that village.
Mr. Dos Santos was a member of the Pioneer Club of Anaconda, the Portuguese-American Citizens Club, the Portuguese Continental Union of America, and a parishioner of St. Mathew's Church. Jack fought in France 1916 during World War I.
In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons, Jack Jr. of Yonkers and Louis of Hastings; two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Maria) Munoz of Dobbs Ferry and Mrs. John (Nina) De Blasio of Hastings; and four grandchildren.
