She married William Jackson O'Barr on February 2, 1941 in Hart County, Georgia.
They had two sons, William McAlston and Thomas Mitchell O'Barr.

SYLVANIA -- Mrs. Mary Clark O'Barr, 81, died Feb. 14 at Screven County Hospital. She was born in Bulloch County and was a retired home economics teacher and a homemaker. She was a member of Sylvania First Baptist Church.
SURVIVORS: two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. William O'Barr and Dr. Jean Fox O'Barr of Durham, N.C., and Thomas O'Barr and Vicki Hinson O'Barr of Sylvania; and grandchildren, Claire and Jimmy O'Barr-Culver, and Emily O'Barr, all of Durham, Mitchell and Clark O'Barr, both of Sylvania, and Will O'Barr of Lawrenceville.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 4 p.m. Saturday in Screven County Memorial Cemetery.
