Donald L. Herald Chesterton/Hammond/Lansing Donald L. Herald, 74, of Chesterton, formerly of Hammond and Lansing, IL, died on Thursday December 11, 2003 at Porter Memorial Hospital, Valparaiso. He was born October 15, 1929 son of the late James R. and late Elma Bake Herald. Married June 2, 1947 in Steubenville, Ohio to June S. Simpson Herald, his wife of 56 years who survives in Chesterton;also survived by two daughters: Sharon (Bruce) Morgan of Portage and Sandy (Eric) Bushong of Schererville; Son, Donald Kim (Debi) Herald of Highland, IN; seven granchdilren: Tori and Tawney Morgan, Donald, Kelly and Mathew Herald, Britt and Brooke Bushong; and two great-grandchildren Brandon Morgan and Courtney Herald. Mr. Herald was a Gold Card member of Bricklayers Local #4 Indiana/Kentucky Union. A 50 year (Life Member) of South Pueblo, Colorado Masonic Lodge #31 F.&A.M. The Family will receive friends on Monday, December 15, 2003 from 5 to 8 PM at the White-Love Funeral Home, Chesterton. There will be no Funeral Service. Cremation will follow at Calvary Crematory, Portage. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Foundation.
