Marion Creelman Savage, born in 1886 at Toronto, received her education from Bryn Mawr, Toronto, then at Queen's College, London, England, and McGill University, Montreal. In 1912, she married Edward Baldwin Savage, who died in 1920. She lived in Montreal most of her life and was associated with various social organizations, such as the I.O.D.E., the Canadian Guild of Crafts, Local and International Council of Women, the Last Post Fund, and the Wartime Prices and Trade Board (Women's Advisory Committee).
