George Washington Veal is the son of Enos Veal and Letitia Platt. He was married twice, first to Anna Maria Sears whom he married April 23, 1840. They had a number (at least 11) children together. He married second to Martha Susannah Atkinson August 12, 1868 in Wayne county, Indiana.
