Mrs. Nellie Groothuis, aged 77, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning at her home 0-345 Baldwin Dr., Jenison. Surviving are her husband, Samuel Groothuis: a daughter, Mrs. John (Emma)Helder, of Zeeland: three sons, John and Clarence of Jenison. Peter of Lansing: 16 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren: three sisters, Mrs. Jerry Vandermolen of Grand Rapids, Mrs.Peter Boss, Chino Calif.: Mrs Joseph VanderKaaay, Redland, Calif; three brothers, John, Peter, and Bert Tiemeyer of Cutlerville. Mrs. Groothuis reposes at the Posthumus Funeral Home, Chapel of the Fountain. Intermit Oakhill Cemetery.
