Andrew was a Private under Maj William Morgan, Virginia Line Oct 1780. Also under Captain Culbert Anderson, Major Williams July 6, 1781 to Oct 6, 1781; Also served under Captain McIntyre and Major Gurke.
Andrew was granted 1,000 acres of land in Henry twp, Kentucky for rev war service.

Leendert Phillipse Conijn arrived in America around 1645 and settled in what is now Albany, New York. Over the generations, the name evolved, for various reasons. Konijn became Conijn became became Conyn became Conine became Carnine. Two brothers, Peter and Andrew, were the first Carnines.
