Wilda Lee Sampson, 78, of Alexandria, died Monday, May 10, 1993, at Mount Vernon Hospital. She was a member of the Downtown Baptist Church in Alexandria. Born in Woodbridge, she was a longtime resident of the area. She was employed with the Federal Aviation Administration in the administrative area. She is survived by her husband, George L Sampson; one sister, Estell Timms of Bradenton FL; one brother, Allen Bourne of Fredericksburg; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday, May 11, at Mountcastle Funeral Home, Woodbridge, where funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, May 12, with Rev Donald Bowen officiating. Interment will take place at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria.
