Funeral services for Lucye King Aday, 98, of Atlanta were at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19 at the Hanner Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Larry Smith officiating. Interment followed in the Pine Crest Cemetery in Atlanta under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service. Aday was born in Cass County. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Atlanta and a member of the Gleaners Sunday School Class. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma. Aday operated Aday Furniture in Atlanta with her husband for many years. She taught school in the area during her early years. Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law, Helen and John Woods of Atlanta; two sisters-in-law, Mary Lee Knight of DeKalb and Betty King of Vivian, La. And numerous nieces and nephews.
