YOUNG FARMER KILLED
Meets His Death at Dawson While Crossing a Railroad Track
Woodward, Nov. 4 - Albert J. Leaming, a young farmer near Dawson, was killed at Dawson Friday while crossing the Milwaukee tracks in front of freight train No 78. The engine struck the hind wheels of the wagon, throwing it about thirty feet and killing one of the horses. Mr. Leaming jumped from the wagon and one of the wagon wheels struck him in the head, killing him instantly. Albert was born near Woodward, and had made this his home until a short time ago. His father and mother reside here, as do the other members of his family. The body will be brought here today. Funeral will occur tomorrow. Interment will be Woodward cemetery. Mr. Leaming was a member of teh Odd Fellows' lodge at Perry.
