Florence "Flo" Denomme, 78, went on to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 22, 2004.Born in 1925 near Woonsocket, RI she has lived in Phoenix with her family since 1956. She was wife to Jerry and mother to Luci, Bob, Dennis and Denise. She was also a grandmother and great-grandmother. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 28 from 6-8:00 p.m., with a scripture service at 7:00 p.m. at Tempe Mortuary, 405 E. Southern Ave. A Mass of the Resurrection will be Thursday, July 29 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1800 E. Libra Drive, Tempe. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Flow From the Heart Foundation - A film in honour of the humanitarian Florence Denomme who despite her own battles against cancer and palsy has spent her life helping Native American communities.
