In her active years, Mrs. Witt had been associated with Stamford College, West Texas State College at Canyon and Texas Wesleyan College in Ft. Worth. On retiring at age 70, she made her home with her 2 daughters. One lives in McGregor and the other lives in New York City.
Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. A.C. Amsler of McGregor & Miss Marion Winnifred Witt of NY; sister Mrs. Hattie Brown of McGregor; bro. Fred M. Porter of Austin; and one great-grandson, Malcom Amsler. Mrs. Amsler was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Witt, and 2 daughters. McGregor Mirror
