Ionia – Marion E. Aldrich Stout, 91, of Ionia died Nov. 16, 1997.
She was born Nov 1, 1906 in Ronald Township, the daughter of Ivan and Cora (Kridler) Brooks. She married Frank Aldrich Nov. 11, 1925 in Lansing and he preceded her in death Dec. 12, 1968. She married Von Stout Sept. 22, 1973 in Ionia and he preceded her in death June 21, 1988. She was a member of the Ronald Township Grange and the Palo Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy (Lincoln) Dygert of Ionia and Lillian (Pete) Garland of Rodney; one step-son, Alton (Doris) Stout of Fenwick; one step-daughter, Alice (Darrel) Hesche of Alto; eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with Chaplain Kathryn Baughman officiating. Interment will be in Balcom Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Anyone wishing may make contributions to the Ionia Area Hospice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
