BENJAMIN FRANKLIN DEIBERT died yesterday at the home of his son, Walter I. Deibert, Downsville Pike, after a short illness, aged 82 years.
He was born and reared in the Chewsville district, the son of the late Jacob and Elizabeth (Hoover) Deibert, and was a member of the Church of the Brethren of the Manor.
Surviving are sons, Adrian N., Fairplay; Walter L., Downsville Pike; brothers, Clinton, Cavetown Pike; William, Security; Charles E., Beaver Creek; sister, Loretta Easton, Hagerstown; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
The body will remain at the home of Walter Deibert until 1:30 p.m. Thursday. The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. from the Manor Church of the Brethren, the Rev. Carl Myers officiating, with interment in the Manor Cemetery.
