Born March 1, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Judson Sanders and Jessie Cullum Sanders. She was predeceased by her husband, Joe Pringle Pratt, six siblings, and infant son.
She graduated from Monetta High School and Lander College and completed graduate studies at the University of South Carolina. A gifted educator, she taught for thirty-five years in South Carolina schools. She was a pioneer in education as evidenced by her appointment as the first reading resource teacher in South Carolina.
Belinda was a devoted and faithful member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, where she served as Sunday School teacher for many years and was an active member of the church council and Wimberly Branch Circle.
She is survived by her sons, Gaines Entrekin (Lang) of Aiken, Dan Pratt (Debbie) of Chapin, Robert Pratt (Susan) of Columbia, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
