Thursday February 20, 1958:
Joseph John Willett passed away early Thursday morning at Saginaw General Hospital after a week's illness. Age 62 years. He was born July 19, 1895, in Taymouth Township and lived in Saginaw County all of his life, moving to the city in 1929. In 1920 he married Evelyn E. Paquette here. She passed away in 1953. He had been employed by the Cheverolet Transmission Plant for 35 years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I., and was wounded in France.

Surviving are one son, Kenneth J. Willett, three grandchildren, and four sisters, Mrs. Carl Carver, Mrs. Otto Brandt, Mrs. Kittie Hammann, Mrs. Ottilia Vesterfelt, all of Saginaw......burial in Forest Lawn...
