SPOUSE AMANDA BROWN BORN 1857 GEORGIA.
READ BIO ON SON LAWRENCE,DAUGHTES IDA AND MAUDE.
lawrences bio explains some of this confusion but still leaves some questions.
I THINK THIS JOHN THOMAS IS HIS BROTHER CHRISTOPHER.
ONE. john wesley does have a son john thomas born 1864 not 1857 according to the census, he married anna manyard and moved to oconee south carolina. this seems to omit the name john thomas.
TWO john brother christopher born 1857 was married to amanda brown born 1857. this fits the birth year for
there father and mother name.
THREE this still leaves a lot of questions of whys. there father went by kitt so was the name simply gotten wrong some way ? could he be hiding in a way for some reason ?
four in the 1880 census christopher and amanda have a daughter ida l b 1876-7, fits my ida.
MIDDLE NAME MAYBE THOMAS?
this tomb stone was put in about 2009 by Pauline Frye hill who was Ida's Crump Hills daughter in law.
