Robert L. Anderson, age 76, of Maryville, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2011, at Asbury Place of Maryville. He loved sports, western movies, and meeting his Porter High class of 1953 classmates at Shoney's for breakfast once a month. He was devoted to his daughter, Angela, his entire life. He was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Martha Imogene Anderson; daughter, Angela Anderson; parents, Emery and Sarah Anderson; grandmother, Maude Kagley; and brother, James Anderson. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Charles Belcher; brothers and sister-in-law, William Anderson and John and Jesse Anderson; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staffs of Blount Memorial Hospice and Asbury Place 2 North for all their care. The family will have a private graveside service at Clark's Grove Cemetery.
