Milford Adams

Milford L. Adams, 90, of Severn died Jan. 30 at Perry Point Veterans Administration Hospital.

Mr. Adams was born April 11, 1918, in Scott County, Va., to the late Emily Gilliam and Amos T. Adams. He graduated from Manville High School in Gate City, Va.

He retired from the Army after 25 years. He served as a medic during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He then worked as a correctional officer for the Maryland Deptartment of Corrections.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Odenton and Severn United Methodist Church.

He enjoyed Severn Squares, hunting and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Murray Adams; three brothers, Jim, Bill Dan and Maurice Adams; and one sister, Eileen Williams.

Survivors include one son, Milford C. Adams of Severn; and one brother, Joseph N. Adams.

Family and friends may visit from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Fink Funeral Home P.A., 426 Crain Highway S., Glen Burnie; funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Fink Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in Baldwin United Methodist Church.
