Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Dubuque, with burial in the East Dubuque Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today and after 11 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, 1185 Rt. 35 N., East Dubuque, where the parish rosary will be said at 8 p.m. tonight.
Mrs. Oliver was a "floor lady" at the Dubuque Packing Co., until her retirement in 1971.
She was born on May 17, 1906, in Almena, Wis., daughter of Hubert and Christine (Digmann) Verbugt. She married Donald L. Oliver on November 25, 1925 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Dubuque; he died Nov. 24, 1957.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and its altar and rosary society, East Dubuque, the East Dubuque senior citizens, the East Dubuque Garden Club and formerly a member of the Eagles Club, Dubuque.
Surviving are three daughters, Anne Meeks of Verdunville, W. Va., Mrs. Wesley (Carol) Boal of Dubuque, and Mrs. Donald (Karen) Zilling, of Urbandale, Iowa; a son, Donald C. Oliver of East Dubuque; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Sister Christine Boesch, OSF, of Mount St. Francis, Dubuque.
A Cecilia K. Oliver Memorial Fund has been established.
