Julia Bargeron Waters, 95, of Warner Robins, Ga. died Sunday, April 30, 2023. The Wayne County native was a member of Jesup Primitive Baptist Church. She began her career as a working mother with employment at Manhattan Shirt Factory and then retired public work at Hardees in Jesup. Her life consisted of being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and caregiver, rearing her children at home using the family network. Her husband of 64 years, Manning Everett Waters preceded her in death along with her third son, Allen Waters and 7 siblings.

Survivors are 3 sons, Edison (Pat) Waters of Charleston, S.C., Marcus (Linda) Waters of Warner Robins, Dwayne (Lisa) Waters of Merritt Island, Fla.; 3 sisters, Thelma, Norma Lou and Frances; a brother, Jobie; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held 11 AM Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Jesup Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Keith Tillman officiating. Interment followed in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Steven, Jonathan, Joshua, Caleb, Chase, Chandler and Ty Waters.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup was in charge of arrangements.
