Retired Meat Dealer Dies: Albert H. Kountz, 131 West 2nd Street, a retired butcher, died this morning at 7:45 am at Geraldine's Rest Home following an illness of 3 days. He was 89. He operated the former Kountz Market, on Market Street for about 45 years, retiring 15 years ago. He was born June 5, 1874 on Kountz Avenue, Wellsville, and spent his lifetime here. He attended the Pennsylvania Avenue Methodist church. He leaves his widow Mrs. Ella Mae Kountz of Canton, a son Owen Kountz of East Liverpool, a sister Mrs. Beulah Tarentum and six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild. Services will be held Wednesday at 3:30 pm at the Martin Funeral Home by the Rev. Glenn Brunstetter, pastor of the Grace Methodist Church at Urichsville, former pastor. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
