Howard "Chuck" Aubuchon of Tiff, Missouri was born on Sunday, June 25, 1916 in Tiff, Missouri a son of the late, Mary Alpha (Ward) Aubuchon and Lucian Aubuchon. "Chuck" departed this life on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at his residence having reached the age of 91 years, 6 months and 29 days.

Howard was united in marriage to Marie Cora Coleman on October 25, 1941.

Chuck is survived by six daughters, Elaine Ginger and husband, Gail of Tiff, Missouri, Brenda McGlothlin of Tiff, Missouri, Gail White of Morse Mill, Missouri, Patricia Reed of Hillsboro, Missouri, Rita Allen and husband, Roger of Crestwood, Missouri, Angela Govero and husband, Curtis of Tiff, Missouri; two sons, Philip Aubuchon of Cadet, Missouri, Bruce Aubuchon and wife, Charlotte of Tiff, Missouri; one sister, Lorretta Patton and husband, Dick of Cleveland, Ohio; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and one great great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marie Cora Aubuchon on January 5, 2007, two sisters, Alice Boyer and Dorothy Aubuchon, six brothers, Harry Aubuchon, Oscar Aubuchon, Leonard Aubuchon, Andy Aubuchon, Lawrence Aubuchon and Jimmy Aubuchon.

Howard was a lifetime member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiff, Missouri where he was a dedicated and very active parishioner. Chuck served in the United States Army enlisting on January 20, 1943. While serving he received the Good Conduct Medal, the European African Middle Eastern Theatre Ribbon, the American Theatre Campaign Ribbon, the Victory Ribbon and was honorably discharged on February 5, 1946. Chuck enjoyed playing card games, especially pinochle, horseshoes and going fishing. Howard also enjoyed doing carpenter work and working in his garden. Chuck was a very kind generous loving man who will be greatly missed by the many lives he has touched.

Visitation was held Friday, January 25, 2008 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturday, January 26, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri. A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiff, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Scott McGlothlin, Matt White, Nick Allen, Tracy Aubuchon, Patrick Aubuchon and Josh Aubuchon. Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Tiff, Missouri where Chuck received full military honors consisting of a firing party, taps, flag folding and presentation. Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
