Mr. Adair was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and Air Force, and he retired from Wilco Truck Rental and Hertz Truck Rental. John attended Longview Height Baptist Church in Olive Branch, and he enjoyed spending his time gardening and tinkering with engines.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dalton F. and Etta Arlena Adair, and his grandson, Heath Adair.
John is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lillian "Jill" Adair; his daughter, Barbara Bertram (Blair); three sons, John V. Adair, Gerry Adair (Cheryl), and Mark Adair (Barbara); 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
