MANGHAM, LA. Ronald Dale Austin, age 51 of Atlanta, Georgia, formerly of Mangham, Louisiana passed away unexpectedly on December 15, 2011 at his home from complications of heart disease. He was born on April 2, 1960 in Winnsboro, Louisiana. Ron worked as an electrician for over 30 years in locations in Louisiana and Georgia. He is preceded in death by his father William Leslie Austin and brother-in-law Dr. Robert Lyon.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha Hopkins Austin; son, Corey Daniel Austin; daughter, Janna Kristeen Austin; his grandsons, Chandler and A.J. Brewer; his mother, Virginia King Austin; brother, William Michael Austin and his wife Patricia; five sisters, Judy Austin Jumonville and her husband Gabe, Gail Austin Lyon, Brenda Austin Torsrud and her husband Jeff, Shirley Austin McDonald and her husband Randall, Renee' Austin Crawford and her husband Scott, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Lone Cherry Baptist Church, Mangham, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time for services at the church.
