Hartford, Sept. 25 - James R. Rector, 74, a retired M-K-T employee, died at his home here at 4:35 o'clock this morning, following a year's sickness from Bright's disease. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Hartford Methodist Church. Rev. H. C. Wassel will conduct the service, and burial will be in the Hartford cemetery.
Mr. Rector was born July 25, 1860 at Chuckey City, Tenn. He grew to manhood and was married there in November, 1882. He had lived in Hartford 51 years, having come from Springfield, Mo. Mrs. Rector died in April, 1928. Two children survive, Otis Rector, of Hartford and Mrs. Susan M. Holden, of Fairville. He was a member of the Hartford Methodist Church.
