He was retired from the U. S. Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground after 23 years of service. He was a member of the Masonic Order in Fort Knox, Kentucky and attended Edgewood Assembly of God. His family said, he enjoyed going to his cabin in West Virginia.
He was survived by his wife of 52 years, three sons, six grandchildren and one sister.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Cheuvront was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Friends were received at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A., where funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Stephen Schuessler. Interment with full military honors was held at Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, Maryland.
