Mrs. Mary Chezem (Chizum) died Friday, September 23, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. E. Fowler, living nine miles west of town. The deceased was 73 years, 5 months, and 22 days old and had been an invalid for some years. She came to this county with the family of her daughter from McCook, Nebraska. The funeral was held at the residence Sunday, September 25. Rev. F. W. Imboden, pastor of the Wray Methodist Church officiating and burial was made in Grandview Cemetery.
