H. Bailey Funeral Rite Held Friday
Last rites were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Plowe Funeral Home for Harmon Bailey, 78, a native of Muskegon who came here to make his home following his retirement in 1970. He died at his home in the Hope Mine Location on Tuesday evening.
The Rev. Clyde Surface, pastor of the Faith Baptist Church of Crystal Falls, officiated at the funeral rite, which was followed by interment in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Bailey was born on February 3, 1896, in Muskegon, and was employed there for years as an assembler in a motor factory. He and his wife, the former Dora Dicks, moved here four years ago. She died in 1972.
Surviving are a son, Dennis, of Muskegon; two sisters, Mrs. Mary McClellan, of Albion, Ind., and Mrs. Fern Thompson, of Warren, Ind, a brother, Charles Bailey, of Fort Wayne, Ind.,m and three grandchildren.
