Mr. Lee was a veteran of the Civil War and he served for more than a year in Company A, 33rd Indiana Volunteers.

Indiana Death Certificate # 230 shows his name is Achilles Lee b 3 Dec 1924 d 22 Nov 1917
Aged 92ys 22ms 19dys. Cause of death: Lumbar pneumonia.

Possibly, Achilles "Killes" and his brother donated land for Mount Pleasant Church Cemetery in Canaan, Jefferson County, Indiana. 10/7/1897
