MRS. SARAH ELLEN MOORE, wife of William C. Moore, died at 12:30 o'clock Thursday night at her home, 412 McDowell avenue, Hagerstown, after an illness of several months, aged 61 years.
She was a member of Grace U.B. Church since fourteen years of age.
Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Fannie O. Cullers, Bridgeport; son, Howard F., California; sisters, Mrs. Harry Swope and Mrs. Fannie Smith, and brother, William Arnold, all of Mt. Lena; step-sisters, Mrs. John Lewis and Mrs. John Metz, Hagerstown, and Mrs. David Muck, Myersville. She also leaves two grandchildren.
Funeral Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Grace U.B. church, Hagerstown, Rev. G. I. Rider officiating, burial at Mt. Lena cemetery at Funkstown.
