Jennings Hugh Smith, 65, of Huntsville died on August 23, 1972 at his home. He was born on September 14, 1906 in Kingston to William Pierce and Nancy Ellen (Bunch) Smith. He was a farmer and an Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Flawie Gladys (Moore) Smith; his son, Donald Max Smith of the home; his daughter, Janice Darlene Gregory of Rogers; his sisters, Elsie Blanche Shrum of Castleford, Idaho, Goldie Vernice Yingst of Buhl, Idaho, and Willie Ella Gibson of Berryville; his brother, James Fred Smith of Connell, Washington; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday at Liberty Church with burial in Liberty Cemetery in Dinsmore under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
