They were living in Louisiana, MO when she was admitted to St. Luke's Hospital in St. Louis for Lobar Pneumonia. They did a test for Tuberculosis on June 26. She died at 6 p.m. on July 1, 1925, from Acute Cardiac Dilation.
Their son, Clay Stark of Louisiana, Mo, was the informant on her death certificate. She was buried the following day.
