RAYDER, Betty J., 84, of Tullahoma, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Life Care Center in Tullahoma. A native of Rockwood, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late James Blaine and Callie Ann Griffis Brasel. Mrs. Rayder was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Rayder, Jr., and seven brothers and sisters, all of Rockwood. She is survived by a daughter Judy (Thomas) Burns, Estill Springs; two sons, Bruce (Helen) Rayder, Louden, Tenn., and Roger (Pam) Rayder, Winchester; one brother, Don Brasel, and a sister, Helen Moore, both of Rockwood; six grandchildren, Scott Rayder, Allison (Eric) DePetrio, Kelli (Butch) Mauldin, Brent (Shannon) Rayder, Ray (Ginny) Burns, Brooke (Kris) Kohlmeier, and seven great-grand-children, Blaine and Thane Burns, Hannah and Ash- lynne Hullette, Savannah Rayder, Breanne Rayder and Zachary DePetrio. Visitation with the family will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., Monday, March 18, at Tullahoma Funeral Home, where services will be conducted in the chapel at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, with Brother Jim Patton officiating.
