Alice Wood Wilson, 97, of Visalia, died of heart failure Saturday at a Visalia hospital. The former Alice Addington was born and raised in Oklahoma and Texas. She married Thomas Milton Wood in 1912 in Texas. They moved to Visalia in 1924. He died in 1934. She married Calvin Wilson in Visalia in 1935. He died in 1954. She was a homemaker. Surviving are two sons, Milton McCoy Wood of Van Nuys and James Phillip Wood of Santa Ana; four daughters, Juanita Whalley of Modesto, Dorothy Lee Thacker of Visalia, Oleta Ross of Lancaster, and Narvelle Roberts of San Mateo; two sisters, Charlotte McCollum of Oregon and Lena Monroe of Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be private at Belmont Memorial Park in Fresno. Arrangements are by Hadley Funeral Chapel."
