COURIER JOURNAL OCT. 10, 1949:
LAWRENCE J. ANDRIOT DIES IN HOSPITAL
Lawrence J. Andriot, 71, retired partner in an automobile body-building firm here, died at 12:45pm yesterday at Norton Memorial Infirmary. He lived at 201 Kennedy Court. Andriot retired in 1938 after 40 years in the business here. His firm, P. M. Andriot & Sons, built special bodies for motor vehicles and earlier for horse-drawn conveyances. It was near Third and Liberty. He was a member of Holy Name Society. Surviving are two sons, E. N. "Bud" Andriot and Lawrence J. Andriot, Jr.; four daughters, Miss Margaret Andriot, Miss Celesta Andriot, Miss Maude Andriot, and Miss Mary Andriot; two brothers, Edward L. Andriot and Albert E. Andriot; and five grandchildren. The funeral will be at 8:30am Wednesday at Ratterman Brothers Chapel, and at 9am at St. Francis of Rome Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
