Edward Gage, father of Mrs. J. B. McCollough of this city, died Thursday at 9 o'clock a. m. at his home near Homer. The cause of his demise was dropsy from which he had been suffering for some time.
The funeral was held Friday at 2 o'clock p.m. from the home. Interment took place in the Saratoga Cemetery. He leaves a wife and family of several grown children.
