Alfred Brueckner, age 86 of New Braunfels, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hildegard Brueckner in 2007.
Alfred is survived by his son, Reinhard Brueckner of Houston and niece, Traudl Putz of Germany.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, German Society, New Braunfels Noon Lions Club and was active for several years with the Texas Lions Camp.
A Rosary will be Recited at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New Braunfels with Deacon Fred Fey officiating. A Mass will be Celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father Tony Pesek as the Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Sts. Peter & Paul Mausoleum.
