Mrs. Alfreda Fernald Beal, 79, widow of Ansil Beal, died early Saturday morning at the home of Mrs. Howland Roberts in East Waterboro where she had resided for about two years. Mrs. Beal was born at Dayton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hill.
She had resided at Waterboro about 15 years, moving here from Ross Corner, Shapleigh.
Surviving are three sons, Roscoe E. Beal, Sanford, and Sidney R. and Leon Beal both of Shapleigh; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother, Herbert Hill, of Dayton.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday from the Ross Corner Baptist Church with interment in the family lot. The Rev. Lester C. Holmes of North Alfred officiated.
