Lucy was my Great Grandmother and even tho I know a great deal about her parents, her Husband and her Sons, Lucy is still a mystery to me.
After many years of researching these roots I still only can speculate about her short life.
I know from the 1880 Census that she was 17 years old, she married shortly after in the same year which gives me an approx. birth date.
I know her last child, my Grandfather was born in 1887. I know that her Husband Oscar re-married in 1900 so she died before that date.
Also, after searching for her burial site for many years I have come to the conclusion that she must be buried here, in Equality, thus, I'm entering her memorial today with an almost 100% belief that this is the right thing to do.
