Visitation will be Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at Hixson Brothers, Pineville, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. until service time at the Church. Mr. Eller, 82, of Pollock, passed away Friday, December 9, 2011, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria.
He was a member of Temple Missionary Baptist church, Pineville and Curtis T. Hines Lodge 317, F&AM. Mr. Eller was a retired Tech Sargent with the U. S. Air Force having served in both the Korean Conflict and the Viet Nam Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson & Lillian Chinn Eller; sister, Allene Rogers Saylors.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Tullos Eller of Pollock; son Gary Dean Eller of Dry Prong; daughter, Teresa Eller Chelette & husband Byron of Rigolette; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jody Lanier, Burney Sober, Jamey Rachal, W. L. Paul, Dustin Eller, and Jim Perry.
