Mrs. Nancy Wood Harris, aged 75, widow of James A. Harris, died at her home, Holbrook, R. D. 1, at 8:05 a.m. yesterday, June 19, 1941, of complications after an illness of ten weeks.

A daughter of the late Jesse and Maria Fordyce Wood the deceased was born February 8, 1866, in Center Township, where she had spent all her life with the exception of a few years spent in West Virginia. A member of the Rogersville Christian Church, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Harris, 11 years ago.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Nettie Wells, Holbrook; Mrs. Ethel Huffman, Waynesburg, and Miss Ellen Harris, Waynesburg; a son, Everett Harris; eleven grandchildren; one brother, Silas Wood, Holbrook, and one sister, Mrs. J. A. Tustin, Waynesburg.
