A daughter of the late Jesse and Maria Fordyce Wood the deceased was born February 8, 1866, in Center Township, where she had spent all her life with the exception of a few years spent in West Virginia. A member of the Rogersville Christian Church, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Harris, 11 years ago.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Nettie Wells, Holbrook; Mrs. Ethel Huffman, Waynesburg, and Miss Ellen Harris, Waynesburg; a son, Everett Harris; eleven grandchildren; one brother, Silas Wood, Holbrook, and one sister, Mrs. J. A. Tustin, Waynesburg.
