He was born March 16, 1951 in Lubbock, TX, to Tom and Ruth (Ramos) Hernandez. He married Guadalupe "Lupe" Olguin, July 6, 1974 in Abernathy, TX. He was a lifelong Abernathy resident and was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, the Crusillistas and served as a Church Usher.
He is preceded in death by a brother, David Hernandez, July 7, 1972.
He is survived by his wife, Lupe Hernandez of Abernathy, TX, a son, Andy Hernandez and his fiance', Crysatl Perez both of Abernathy, TX, a daughter, Gracie Hernandez and her fiance', Joe Martinez both of Lubbock, TX, his parents, Tom and Ruth Hernandez and 2 brothers, Manuel and Enselmo Hernandez all of Abernathy, TX.
