Annette was the daughter of Frank & Elizabeth McGeehee Lewis.

She was married to Donald Cardwell.

Mother of Dona Lea, Audrey Lynn & Anita (Neet) Louise.

Grandmother of Josh, Zack, Paige, Jordan & Carly Ann.

Sister of Marilyn Murray.

Aunt of Michael, Pat & Betsy. Great Aunt of Taylor.

Annette was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a very special friend to so many. We will miss her special stories, her laugh, her smile and her special hugs. She is for sure shining ever brighter now.

She fought a long battle with cancer never losing hope and always a smile for everyone.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dona Lea and her parents.

God saw you were getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
So He put His arms around you
And whispered,"Come to me."
With tearful eyes we watched you,
And saw you slip away.
And though we love you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands were put to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
