GALVA - Paul Wisely, 74, Galva, died Saturday at 6:40 a.m. in Kewanee Convalescent Center.
He was born Jan. 7, 1906, in Washington County. He married Marian Palmer, March 14, 1942 in Kohoka, Mo.
Surviving are his widow; five sisters, Mrs. Belle Cunningham of St. Genevieve, Mo., Mrs. Martha Howle of Sparta, Mrs. Isla McClay and Mrs. Bernice Watkins, both of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Vera Reinecker in California.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Galva. He farmed in Knox and Henry Counties until his retirement in 1969.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in Johnson-Gill-Schuster Chapel, Galva, Rev. Kenneth Starns officiating. Burial will be in Galva Cemetery. Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m.
