Earl Elton Walden was born on June 26, 1913, in Booneville, Mississippi, and departed this life on Sunday, December 11, 2011, Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 98.

Earl, the son of Marcus Elton and Mattie Mae (Martin) Walden, was a long-time resident of Prague. He was married to Lucille White on March 10, 1936 and she preceded him in death on November 16, 2002. Earl was well known farmer in the Prague area and was of the Freewill Baptist Faith. He was also preceded in death by his parents; Four brothers, Cotton, Bill, Olan and Jr.; Two sisters, Eileen Goode and Maxine White.

Survivors include:

One daughter and son in law Wanette and Robert Martin, Prague

One brother and sister in law Harold and Donna Walden, Prague

Three grandchildren Gayle & Mike Morland, Shawnee, OK
Keith and Sheila Martin, Bartlett, Kansas
Janet and Curtis Blocker, Ada, OK

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 10:00 AM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery in Seminole County. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
