He died at his home on Pine Street,early Saturday morning,in his 63rd year.
Funeral was held Sunday at 3 P.M. Rev. J.C. McDonald officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the Punxsutawney Cemetery and the funeral was attended by a large concourse of relatives and friends.

He was born in Punxsutawney and he was considered to have been one of the oldest native born citizens residing in town.

Thirty six years ago he was married to [Mary Jane Hickox] the daughter of the late Reuben Hickox.

He leaves a wife and three children to mourn his departure;
namely,two sons:
R.H. Winslow and Floyd Winslow;
and one daughter,the wife of our townsman,W. R. Neale.
He has one brother and four sisters living;
Chas. W. Winslow of Bennezette;
Mrs. John Hendrics of Pittsburg;
Mrs. J. U. Gillespie and Mrs. Amanda Wilson of Clayville
and Mrs. J. A. Minish of Punxsutawney.

Mr. Winslow was a faithful and consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and was held in high esteem and respect by all who knew him.
