MOUNTS, Wilbur "Wibby" Curtis 82, of Springfield, a hard working man that loved the Lord and his family, went to be with his Lord Friday, December 9, 2011. He was born March 1, 1929 in Pike County, Ohio the son of Andrew Jackson and Virginia (Ferrell) Mounts Jr. Mr. Mounts was a member of the International Pentecostal Church of Christ, H. S. Kissell Lodge # 674 Lodge F. & A. M., the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton and Local #402. He had attended Wittenberg University and was retried from International Harvester. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years; Donna J. (Sibole) Mounts, four children; Paul "Sonny" and Teresa Mounts, Brenda Jo (Mounts) and Ralph Evans, Bryan K. Mounts, and Becky M. (Mounts) and Bryan K. Owen all of Springfield, nine grandchildren; Shawn Mounts, Nick Mounts, Ralph Allen (Selena) Evans, Misty (Evans) and John Taylor, Katina (Evans) and James Lebo, Bobbie Jo (Evans) and Kevin Reno, James Evans, Bryan K. and Stephanie Owen II and Brooke Amanda "Tweety" Owen, eighteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and very close and dear friends; Pastor Richard Blevins and Sherriff Gene Kelly. He was preceded in death by a son; Wilbur Curtis Mounts Jr., brothers; Bronson Mounts, Swanson Mounts, Rev. Jack Mounts, Quentin Mounts, Albert Mounts, Rev. Lucian Mounts, a sister; Fern Cotterman and his parents. Visitation will be held in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Wednesday in the International Pentecostal Church of Christ with Pastor Richard Blevins officiating. Additional visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services in the church. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
