Olga retired in 1983 from Caterpillar, Inc. in Joliet after 31 years of employment. She was a member of the Slovenian Women's Union of America Branch #20, CCW Rockdale of St. Joseph Church, and the St. Francis DeSalbe Society KSKJ #29.
Olga is survived by her devoted son-in-law Charles Allen; her eight grandchildren Scott (Michelle), Carl "Duck" (Suzanne), Brad (Michelle), Craig (Gwen), Kelly Lynn (Kevin) Hennessy, Keith (Kelly), Todd and Chad Allen; her great-grandchildren Ashley, Zachary, Emma and Christopher, Autumn, Halia and Carly, Aidan and Alex, Nolan, Delaney and Marla Mae, and Cadence and Mia; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Frank C. Erjavec; her parents Peter and Constance Rungaitis; her daughter Marla Mae Allen; her siblings Nell, Peter, Anna, Walter, Joseph, Stella, Irene, and Leroy; and her closest friend Mary (Peter) Zini.
A Celebration of Olga's life will begin on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 9:30 am with prayers at the funeral home chapel, then in procession to St. Anne Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am.
Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Joliet. Visitation will be on Friday, December 16, from 3 to 8 pm at: Tezak's
