William Evan Bailey
Service for William Evan "Bill" Bailey, 80, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Thornhill's Chapel of the Valley.
Private entombment service was at Pines Cemetery.
Mr. Bailey died Friday at Garden Terrace Convalescent Center.
A lifetime Spokane-area resident, he was born and reared at Connell, Wash. He worked as a truck driver before serving with the Army during World War II.
Mr. Bailey was employed as a sales sampler for Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corp. - Trentwood 23 years, retiring in 1972.
He was a member of United Steelworkers of America Local 338.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Addie; three sons, Monty "Red" Bonnett of Deer Park, Norman Bonnett of Spokane and Dennis Bonnett of the Spokane Valley; two daughters, Ruth McGhee of Concord, Calif., and Joanna Beck of the Spokane Valley; 25 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
